About me
For this installment of "what should I put for my bio" here's a little magazine profile-style Q&A.
Q: How’d you get into this line of work?
A: It started with years of homemade birthday cards, and eye-guzzling hours of commercials during football. Then in a stroke of dumb luck, I got introduced to the BrandLab through my senior-year marketing class. Now, I volunteer with them as a summer coach!
Q: What famous copywriters do you admire?
A: Terrence LeVarr Thornton, more famously known as Pusha T, allegedly first wrote “I’m lovin it” for McDonalds in 2002, and never got much credit for it. Goes to show why the best ad writers have cool hobbies outside of work.
Q: Care to list some of those hobbies?
A: I’m a big sports guy. I play fantasy football, co-ed soccer, and make TikToks about sports too. Besides that I have a vegetable garden, a nearly-full Pokedex, and if you give me a job, I’ll have no choice but to add to my sneaker collection.
Q: What’s your professional mantra?
A: The average American spends roughly one third of their life at work, so I believe in spending those 90,000 hours doing something fun.
Q: Name an item on your writing bucket list.
A: Someday I hope to do the back of a cereal box.
